Michigan boy saves sister from abduction with slingshot

A 14-year-old boy in Michigan defended his eight-year-old sister from a kidnapper by shooting him twice with a slingshot, hitting him in the head and chest. The suspect, a 17-year-old, has been arrested and charged with attempted kidnapping/child enticement, attempted assault to do great bodily harm less than murder, and assault and battery. The injuries caused by the slingshot helped authorities identify the suspect. The boy is being hailed as a hero for saving his sister's life.
