Fashion model Christy Giles died from a drug overdose after being dropped outside a hospital by two masked men in a car without license plates. Her husband, Jan Cilliers, became a grieving investigator and used the digital trail Giles had left behind to piece together what happened. He discovered that Giles and her friend, Hilda Marcela Cabrales, had been taken to the home of David Pearce, a self-proclaimed "Hollywood producer," where they were given lethal amounts of fentanyl. Pearce has been charged with two counts of murder and two felony drug counts, as well as seven counts of sexual assault involving seven different women.
