Mother and Boyfriend Indicted for 2-Year-Old's Overdose, Sheriff's Office Reports

A mother and her boyfriend in Clermont County, Ohio, have both been indicted on charges of child endangerment, tampering with evidence, and possession of fentanyl after their 2-year-old child overdosed. The child had to be given Narcan and was taken to the hospital, but has since improved and been released to family. Drug paraphernalia and a powder believed to be narcotics were found in the couple's home, and the mother admitted to using drugs and leaving them accessible to the child. The boyfriend has yet to be served his indictment as he is in an inpatient treatment facility.
