Mother arrested after human remains of missing 5-year-old found in Aurora apartment.

A woman in Aurora, Colorado, faces charges of child abuse resulting in death, tampering with a deceased human body, and tampering with physical evidence after human remains were found in her apartment. The Aurora Police Department is "highly confident" the remains belong to missing 5-year-old Maha Li Hobbs, and there is a high probability the woman, Alexus Tanielle Nelson, will face a murder charge in the near future. Nelson was arrested on charges of attempting to influence a public servant on Tuesday. The investigation began when Nelson's mother called police concerned that her granddaughter may have been put up for adoption.
