Multiple States Investigating Recent Homicides

The Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation is investigating a homicide in Albia after 49-year-old Daniel Gundrum was found with a gunshot wound and died from his injuries. Authorities say there is no threat to the public and are investigating whether it was a targeted incident or self-defense. The Office of the State Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy, and anyone with information is asked to contact the Albia Police Department.
