Nine juveniles, as young as 12, arrested for strong-arm robberies in Oakland.

Nine juveniles, as young as 12, were arrested in Oakland in connection to nearly three dozen separate strong-arm robberies in more than a dozen city neighborhoods. The suspects, three girls and six boys, were arrested on suspicion of robbery and are allegedly linked to crimes in various Oakland neighborhoods. The group more often carried out strong-arm attempts against women, attacking and pummeling them before grabbing at valuables. Investigations are ongoing.
