NYC Hospital Greeter Charged with Attempted Murder in Stabbing Spree

A 27-year-old hospital greeter in NYC, Jermain Rigueur, has been charged with multiple counts of attempted murder, assault, and weapons possession for a nine-day stabbing spree in Queens and Brooklyn. The suspect, who has no criminal record or indication of mental illness, allegedly randomly attacked five people, including a broad-daylight stabbing at a train stop. Rigueur, who was caught on video entering the station, was connected to six attacks, with one victim being taken to the hospital where he worked. He has been placed on administrative leave, and his arraignment in Queens Criminal Court is pending.
