Ohio Mom Indicted for Murder After Leaving Toddler Alone for 10 Days During Vacation

A Cleveland mother, Kristel Candelario, has been indicted on charges of aggravated murder, murder, felonious assault, and endangering children after leaving her 16-month-old daughter alone for 10 days while she went on vacation to Detroit and Puerto Rico. When she returned, she found the toddler unresponsive and emergency personnel pronounced her dead at the scene. The child was discovered in a Pack-N-Play pin on a liner soiled with urine and feces with soiled blankets. Prosecutors allege the child was extremely dehydrated at her time of death.
