Organizer of Alvarado ICE Attack Sentenced to 100 Years

A federal jury convicted nine people in the July 2025 attack at the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas. Organizer Benjamin Song received a 100-year sentence; Maricela Rueda got 70 years; six others were sentenced to about 50 years; Daniel Estrada was given 30 years, with the ninth defendant’s sentence pending.
