Pa. cold-case double murder: daughter charged after years-long probe
TL;DR
After more than three years, Pennsylvania authorities charged Michelle Zajko, the daughter of slain couple Richard and Rita Zajko, in their 2022 killings in Chester Heights. Investigators say incriminating texts, ballistics data, and enhanced surveillance audio place her at least partly responsible and point to possible co-conspirators not yet identified. The case is tied to the so-called Zizians, a group linked to other violent incidents, and detectives continue pursuing others seen entering the home before the December 31, 2022 killings.
