"Pittsburgh Police Officers Placed on Leave Following Intense Shootout and Standoff During Eviction"

Over 75 law enforcement officers in Pittsburgh have been placed on leave following an hourslong standoff and shootout with a man who shot at sheriff's deputies attempting to serve an eviction notice. The suspect, William Hardison Sr., was found dead inside the residence after exchanging gunfire with officers for approximately 6½ hours. The officers involved, including deputies, county police officers, and Pittsburgh police officers, will undergo psychological evaluations before returning to work.
