"Police Officer Foils 7-Eleven Armed Robbery by Coincidentally Walking In"

A surveillance video released by the West Covina Police Department in California shows Sergeant Abel Hernandez walking into a 7-Eleven and apprehending a suspect, Ramon Gonzalez, who was attempting to rob the store at gunpoint. Hernandez noticed something was amiss and chased the suspect out of the store, ultimately arresting him. Gonzalez was found in possession of a loaded handgun and around $400 in cash, which was returned to the store. He was booked for robbery, felon in possession of a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
