RPD Officer Arrested for Sending Inappropriate Material to Minor

Rochester Police Department officer, Shawn Jordan, was arrested and charged with disseminating indecent material to a minor and endangering the welfare of a child. Jordan allegedly communicated with a 16-year-old girl via Facebook Messenger's video chat and exposed himself to her. He has been suspended without pay from the department and his next court date is scheduled for May 3, 2023.
