Spate of Shootings Injures Multiple in Iowa City

A man was shot multiple times in downtown Iowa City on Saturday night and was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. The suspect was last seen fleeing the area on foot with several other people involved in an altercation before the shooting. The University of Iowa community was alerted of the incident, but police say it appears to be an isolated incident. Anyone with information is asked to contact Iowa City Police.
