Stolen police car thief dies after jumping out during high-speed chase.

A thief driving a stolen California cop car jumped out of the vehicle at around 46 mph during a police chase, resulting in his death. The suspect had crashed his own car before stealing the police cruiser and leading officers on a 90-minute chase. Despite attempts to save his life, the suspect was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. The California Highway Patrol is investigating how the suspect was able to steal the responding officer's car.
