Suspect Arrested After Fatal SE Albuquerque Shooting

The Albuquerque Police Department arrested 24-year-old Davonta Jacob on May 29 for the murder of Timothy Lemon, who was shot on May 24 in southeast Albuquerque. Surveillance video and witness descriptions led to Jacob's identification. Lemon, 33, was helping someone put up a tent when he was shot and later died despite life-saving efforts. Jacob faces charges of murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
