"Times Square Police Assault: Asylum-Seekers Arrested and Wanted in Shocking Attack"

Five asylum-seekers were arrested for assaulting police officers near Times Square as the officers were attempting to take someone into custody. The suspects allegedly kicked and punched the officers before fleeing the scene. The officers sustained minor injuries and were treated on site. The suspects have been identified and face charges including assault on a police officer, disorderly conduct, and gang assault. Four of the men have been released pending a future court date, while the fifth is awaiting arraignment. The Manhattan District Attorney's Office is continuing to investigate the incident.
