Toddler revived with Narcan in Virginia overdose incident

A 2-year-old boy in Virginia was revived with Narcan after an apparent drug overdose, leading to the arrests of two women who were wanted on outstanding warrants. The toddler was initially taken to a hospital before being transferred for more advanced medical care. Narcan, which can rapidly reverse an opioid overdose, was administered to the child. Last month, the FDA approved Narcan nasal spray for over-the-counter sales without a prescription for the first time to help lower overdose rates.
