Two IMPD Officers Shot, Suspect in Custody After West Side Narco Raid

Two Indianapolis police officers were shot during a narcotics-related search on the city’s west side around 2:30 p.m., with both officers in stable condition at Eskenazi Hospital. The suspect surrendered after a confrontation that involved crisis negotiators; the incident ended around 3:31 p.m. and police say there is no ongoing public threat. Detectives will remain on scene for hours as they investigate and community members were asked to shelter in place during the shooting.
