Valley High student critically wounded in Louisville bus-stop shooting; police seek suspect

Around 8 a.m. Tuesday, a teenage Valley High School student was shot near a JCPS bus stop on Beech Street in Park DuValle, Louisville, and is in critical condition. Police say there were multiple shots fired; no arrests have been made and the Homicide Unit is investigating to determine whether the act was random or targeted. LMPD is coordinating with JCPS Police, while city leaders plan to boost security and violence-prevention measures at the bus stop.
