Woman Charged with Aiding Suicide Through 'Heinous' Messages to Ex-Boyfriend: DA

Mandie Reusch, a Pennsylvania woman, has been charged with aiding suicide after sending "heinous and graphic" messages to her ex-boyfriend, Kevin Metzger, who died by suicide in 2021. The messages, which started in June 2020 and lasted for over a year, allegedly encouraged Metzger to take his own life and contained explicit images, videos, or themes. Reusch and Metzger shared a child, and some messages threatened that he would never see their daughter and said he owed Reusch money. Reusch was also charged with harassment and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for June 27.
