Woman charged with murder of 6-year-old found in bucket on mother's lawn.

A woman in Harahan, Louisiana, has been arrested and charged with first-degree murder and obstruction of justice after the body of a 6-year-old girl was found in a plastic bucket on her biological mother's front lawn. The victim was identified as Bella Fontenelle, a kindergarten student at St. Matthew the Apostle Catholic School in River Ridge. The girl's father reported his girlfriend and youngest daughter missing around 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, after waking up to find them unexpectedly absent from their house. The woman was located at a local hospital and was arrested. The motive for the killing is still unknown.
