Smithsonian Removes Trump Impeachment References Amid Cultural Shift
TL;DR
The Smithsonian's National Museum of American History has temporarily removed references to President Trump's impeachments from its exhibit on American presidencies, citing the need for a comprehensive update. The exhibit, which also covers other historical impeachments, will be revised to include all presidential impeachments in the future, though no specific timeline has been provided. The removal follows political tensions and a broader effort by the Trump administration to influence how American history is presented in museums.
