US Census Bureau Reveals Population Shifts in Major Counties.

California's population has decreased for the third consecutive year, with an estimated 113,649 people leaving the state from July 2021 to July 2022. More than half of California's 58 counties lost population during that timeframe, with many of the counties seeing a reduction in population located in Southern California and the Bay Area. Los Angeles County saw the largest decline in population in the country, with more than 90,000 people leaving the county. However, Riverside County saw the largest increase in population, with more than 15,000 people moving there from 2021 to 2022.
