Canadian Wildfires Trigger Hazardous Air Quality Across North America and Europe

Wildfires in Canada have led to widespread evacuations across three provinces, with smoke affecting air quality in the U.S. and reaching as far as the U.K., driven by climate change which is making fires bigger and more frequent. The U.S. has deployed firefighting personnel to assist Canada, as the fires burn over 1 million hectares, marking one of the worst seasons on record.
