Hazy air quality alerts issued across Midwest and Northeast.

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has issued a red air quality alert due to haze caused by wildfires in Quebec, Canada. The alert is in effect until 8 a.m. on Monday and affects several counties in Wisconsin. The air is unhealthy for all people to breathe in, not just sensitive groups, and the National Weather Service recommends reducing prolonged or heavy exertion outdoors. Over 100 fires are currently burning in Quebec, with more than 10,000 people evacuated.
