Southern California water restrictions lifted for millions after storms.

Nearly 7 million people in California have had water restrictions lifted after the state experienced its 11th atmospheric river, which brought drought-busting rainfall. The metropolitan water district of southern California imposed the restrictions last year, but back-to-back storms have refilled reservoirs and built up a monumental snowpack. However, the state is still dealing with the aftermath of flooding and power outages caused by the storms. Governor Gavin Newsom has warned that California could potentially see a 12th atmospheric river next week.
