China Exposes CIA Spy Within Its Military Company
China's Ministry of State Security has accused a Chinese national, identified as Zeng, of providing sensitive military information to the CIA. Zeng, who worked for an undisclosed Chinese military industrial group, allegedly developed a close relationship with a US embassy official in Italy, who later revealed himself to be a CIA officer. Zeng signed an espionage agreement, received training, and provided a large amount of core intelligence to the CIA upon returning to China. The case has been handed to prosecutors for review and indictment. This comes after two US Navy sailors were arrested for allegedly providing sensitive US military information to Chinese intelligence officers.
