"Massive Group of Migrants March North from Southern Mexico Demanding Legal Route to US"

Around 3,000 migrants from Central America, Cuba, Venezuela, Ecuador, and Colombia have started a protest march through Mexico towards Mexico City to demand reforms to migrant treatment and protest against detention centers. The march comes after a deadly fire at a Mexican migrant facility in Ciudad Juarez last month, which killed 39 migrants and injured 29 others. Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said migrants at the facility had set fire to their mattresses as part of a protest against a supposed transfer.
