Americans in Israel Share Harrowing Experiences During Hamas Attack

New York officials, including Representative Daniel Goldman and Senator Cory Booker, who were visiting Israel, found themselves caught in the midst of the Hamas attack. They experienced air raid sirens and sought shelter multiple times, gaining a firsthand view of the precarious nature of life in Israel. A group of New York area law enforcement officials also found themselves in bomb shelters, running for cover when rockets were headed their way. Despite the unexpected circumstances, they left Israel safely and returned home.
