Biden Sends Armored Vehicles to Ukraine After Losses.

The Biden administration has announced a $325 million drawdown of U.S. military stocks to send more armored vehicles, artillery shells, and air defense missiles to Ukraine as the country's forces suffer early losses in its counteroffensive against Russia. The latest package includes 15 Bradley fighting vehicles and 10 Stryker infantry carriers, among other equipment. The Pentagon has pledged 31 Abrams tanks, but the Ukrainians are still training on them in Poland, and they won’t appear on the battlefield for months. The Ukrainian government is eager to establish maintenance facilities with the U.S. and European defense industries to repair battle-damaged equipment.
