Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov criticized Senator Lindsey Graham's comments about the death of Russian soldiers in Ukraine, saying he brought "shame" to the United States. Graham had noted that "Russians are dying" in the war during a meeting with Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Meanwhile, Kyiv was subjected to the "most massive" drone attack since Russia's invasion of Ukraine began 15 months ago, with more than 40 drones shot down. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov also slammed plans by Western countries to send F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, calling it an "unacceptable escalation."
