"US Approves $400M Military Aid for Ukraine, Including Black Hornet Spy Drone"

The US Department of Defense has announced an additional $400 million in security assistance for Ukraine, including air defense missiles, armored vehicles, and small drones. This aid package marks the first time that the US will provide Black Hornet surveillance drones to Ukraine. The assistance also includes munitions for various defense systems. The aid is funded through Presidential Drawdown Authority and comes from US excess inventory. This is the 43rd security assistance package approved by the US for Ukraine since Russia's invasion in 2014. Secretary of State Antony Blinken called on Russia to end the war and denounced its attacks on Ukraine's ports and infrastructure. Russia criticized the US package, while Britain expressed concerns about potential Russian targeting of civilian shipping in the Black Sea.
