US Increases Military Aid to Ukraine with $500 Million in Weapons and Assistance

The Biden administration is sending up to $500 million in military aid to Ukraine, including heavily armored vehicles and missiles for air defense systems, to bolster Ukraine's counteroffensive against Russia. This is the 41st time the US has provided military weapons and equipment to Ukraine since the Russian invasion in 2014. The aid package includes Bradley Fighting Vehicles, Stryker vehicles, HIMARS missiles, Patriot air defense systems, Javelin and HARM missiles, and various ammunition. The US has delivered over $15 billion in weapons and equipment to Ukraine since the invasion and has committed an additional $6.2 billion in supplies.
