IL Supreme Court Upholds Illinois Assault Weapons Ban

The Illinois Supreme Court has ruled that the state's assault weapons ban is constitutional, overturning a lower court decision. The court found that the plaintiffs were not similarly situated to trained professionals and that they had waived any second amendment challenge to the restrictions.
