LAPD Chief Accused of Leaking Personal Data to Anti-Police Activists.

The Los Angeles Police Protective League (LAPPL) has filed a complaint against LAPD Chief Michel Moore and Police Administrator III Lizabeth Rhodes for releasing personal information of police officers to an anti-police group called Stop LAPD Spying Coalition. The group obtained the information through a public records request and posted it on a website titled Watch the Watchers. The police union claims that the release endangers police across the city and exposes undercover cops, while the group argues that the information is public and doesn't include private addresses. The Office of the Inspector General is investigating the matter.
