2 Rescued After 80-Foot Yacht Sinks Off St. Augustine Coast

Two boaters were rescued after their 80-foot yacht, Atlantis, struck a submerged dredge pipe and began sinking off the coast of St. Augustine Beach, Florida. The U.S. Coast Guard and St. Johns County Fire Rescue coordinated the rescue, with one individual suffering minor injuries. The yacht's emergency position indicating radio beacon (EPIRB) helped pinpoint its location, and the vessel's owner is expected to arrange for its salvage. The incident is under investigation.
