Multiple crashes cause delays on I-81 in Virginia.

Multiple crashes involving about 20 vehicles, including tractor-trailers and cars, caused a 12-mile traffic backup on I-81N in Montgomery County, Virginia. All north lanes were closed and traffic was diverted off at Exit 118 C, but have since reopened. It is unclear if there were any injuries. Virginia State Police are on the scene and warn that it could be an extended amount of time before roads are fully reopened.
