Wild Waves Site Slated for 1-Million-Square-Foot Warehouse in Federal Way

Federal Way planners propose Panattoni Project Podium to demolish the Wild Waves site (about 66 acres) and replace it with a roughly 1,035,000-square-foot, single-story warehouse (46 ft tall) with loading areas; full buildout is targeted for 2028. Wild Waves is set to close after the 2026 season. The plan includes three driveways, landscaping to screen the site, and road changes, with traffic projected at 1,517 weekday trips (445 trucks) and peak times of 117 morning and 133 afternoon trips.
