Lincoln street closures extend into September for water main and signal work

Lincoln Transportation and Utilities reports multiple street closures in Lincoln: 14th Street (R to Q) southbound closed for O Street improvements with local access; 56th Street between Nebraska Parkway and Waltz Place/Waltz Road and Old Cheney Road (53rd to 59th) have outer lanes closed for traffic-signal replacement; O Street (13th to 12th) westbound closed for water main replacement. Alternate routes recommended include 13th Street for southbound traffic and N or Q Streets for westbound traffic. Projects are expected to wrap up in late August for some items and late September for others, weather permitting.
