Army probes Apache overflight near Kid Rock home after pool salute
TL;DR
The U.S. Army is conducting an administrative review after two AH-64 Apache helicopters practiced over the Nashville area, hovering near Kid Rock’s hillside home as he saluted the crews from his pool. There was no request from Kid Rock for the flyover, and the incident occurred during a nearby protest, though officials say it was unrelated to the protest. The Army will assess the mission for safety and airspace compliance and take action if violations are found.
