Rose Friedman, NPR Arts Editor Behind Books We Love, Dies at 38

Rose Friedman, NPR Arts Editor and co-creator of Books We Love, died of cancer at 38 in New York. She helped shape NPR’s arts coverage, edit book reviews, and co-create the Books We Love reader’s guide; colleagues described her as voracious, brilliant, and deeply kind. She is survived by her partner Andrew Anastasi, two children, and family.
