California Family Discovers 1 Million Copper Pennies While Cleaning Out Home

A family in Los Angeles found over 1 million copper pennies in a cramped crawlspace in the basement of their 1900s-era home, which they plan to renovate. The trove has a face value of at least $10,000, but could be worth more than $1m. The family has hauled the pennies out of the basement crawl space and transported them closer to their home, and are awaiting more offers on the coins.
