Dr. Fauci Joins Georgetown University Faculty.

Dr. Anthony Fauci, former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, will join the faculty at Georgetown University as a Distinguished University Professor in the School of Medicine's Division of Infectious Diseases starting July 1. Fauci, who served as chief medical adviser to seven U.S. presidents, called the decision a "no-brainer" and "a natural extension of my scientific, clinical and public health career." He will also hold an additional appointment in the university’s McCourt School.
