"Accountability Demanded for Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal and Aid Flowing to Taliban"

Republican Representative Byron Donalds is introducing the Big Biden Blunder Act, which would demand accountability for the Biden administration's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan in August 2021. The bill would require an analysis of the economic effects of the withdrawal and a statement from President Biden on whether he believes it caused any inflationary effects in the US. Several other Republicans have signed on to co-sponsor the bill. The introduction of the bill comes on the same day the House Oversight Committee is holding its first hearing on the fumbled withdrawal. The White House has continued to shirk its responsibility for the withdrawal.
