Armed attack disrupts Acton campaign stop near Youngstown; several injured

Democratic gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton was attacked at a campaign stop at the Canfield Fair near Youngstown when an armed individual lunged at her, injuring multiple people nearby. The suspect was taken into custody and found to be armed with multiple weapons. Acton’s team praised swift law enforcement response, and both her campaign and the rival Vivek Ramaswamy campaign condemned the violence.
