Arrest Made After Armed Incident Targeting Ohio Candidate Amy Acton at Canfield Fair
A 38-year-old Patrick Havas was arrested at the Canfield Fair after an armed incident in which he lunged at Ohio gubernatorial candidate Amy Acton and injured multiple people. Security intervened as two handguns and brass knuckles were recovered and two bystanders were knocked down. Havas remains in Mahoning County Jail on charges of two counts of assault and one count of disorderly conduct as investigators from the sheriff’s office and OSHP continue the probe, with campaign and party officials condemning political violence.
