Autism Center Tied to Flanagan Ally Faces Medicaid Fraud Probe

The Milestone Development Center, run by Nimco Ahmed—a longtime friend of Minnesota Lt. Gov. Peggy Flanagan—has been terminated from Medicaid and is under investigation for fraud along with Spectrum Therapy Center; both providers have appealed the termination during Minnesota’s Revalidate 2026 process, with DHS saying investigations are ongoing and details cannot be disclosed.
