Their income mostly consisted of the president's salary, pensions, and the first lady's earnings from her teaching position. The Bidens also made charitable donations of $20,180 to 20 different charities, with the largest contribution going to the Beau Biden Foundation. Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband reported earning $456,918 in income in 2022, less than half the amount they reported in 2021, and paid $93,570 in federal income tax at a rate of 20.5%.
