Biden's Off-the-Cuff Remark on 'God Save the Queen' Causes Confusion at Gun Violence Event.
TL;DR
President Joe Biden caused confusion when he signed off his speech to gun safety advocates with the phrase “God save the Queen, man” at the National Safer Communities Summit in West Hartford, Connecticut. Critics were quick to jump on the phrase, but others pointed out that he has used it before to end his speeches. The White House clarified that he couldn’t do the full ropeline due to weather and was commenting to someone in the crowd.
